Jobs Young Persons Mentor Salary: £16.50 per hour Closing Date: Wednesday 8th May 2024 at 17:00 Contract Type: Sessional / hourly We are looking for volunteers/paid adults to mentor young people within their communities on a 1-to-1, weekly basis. We work with young people aged 8-18 years, prioritising those who are disengaged from school, socially isolated or experiencing poor mental health. Engaging with young people during sessions you will be creative in preparing food within budget constraints while also teaching cooking skills and promoting healthy eating. You will be responsible for maintaining the kitchen area and equipment, assisting with stock ordering and control and ensuring a hygienic working environment. Due to the continued growth of Youth Moves you would be joining our passionate team at an exciting time for the organisation as we develop a brand new Youth Zone in South Bristol in 2025.
